2. You do not need to submit any payment (courtesy of B.R.A.I.N) unless you have personalized plates. If so, please submit a check for $10 made payable to B.R.A.I.N. along with your application.
Note: If your plate expires before mid-2008, please renew your plates as usual. You can still submit a request for a Brain Tumor Awareness plate.
Q:Can I go straight to the DMV to obtain a plate?
A:No, we are in the petition stage. Plates will be available directly through DMV once they go in to production
A:My car is registered in another state can I get a plate?
Q:No.Your vehicle must be actively registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
A:Where does the money go and why must we write a check to you or your organization?
Q: DMV requires that the prepaid applications be collected by the sponsor. Once 350 prepaid applcations have been received, it is sent in one lump sum to DMV for processing (they will not accept 350 individual payments)
